BFRS is a Social Enterprise that was created to work in support of the Armed Forces Community (AFC). We support them by working with companies across the UK that are looking to hire, re-train, and offer career advice to the them. 

We successful host National Careers Fairs across the country and our aim is to continuously introduce the AFC to companies and try to ensure they are fully aware of the benefits of employing from this community.

Defender - Windows free Sypware protection

We have always found this a good free virus checker. It is also relatively undemanding of the computer - which helps if you have got an old one.

However, antivirus itself is no longer adequate security. You should use a good antivirus program and a good anti-malware program. Together, they will protect you from most of the worst threats on the internet today: viruses, spyware, ransomware, and even potentially unwanted programs (PUPs)

Malwarebytes is a good one to run alongside Defender. Both can be free

Newer machines may not have the all-important JAVA installed. If a virtual tour programme or some other interesting website does not work, click the heading and then the 'Download' when the JAVA website comes up . If you get a red message you will probably find that you also need Flash so click that download as well. Both are free and crucial!
